S.P. Jain Executive MBA Program In Dubai

For those looking for a good executive MBA program in Dubai, the Sp Jain Emba would be a good option to check out. A recent A.C. Nielson poll ranked the school number one in Dubai out of all the institutes of higher learning, so the executive MBA program should be of pretty high quality.

In order to be admitted to the Sp Jain Emba program, you must have at least three years of work experience. You are required to fill out an application, take a test, have a personal interview, and complete a business case study. Based on this information, as well as your educational and business backgrounds, they will determine whether or not to admit you to the program.

Executive MBA programs are usually structured in ways that are meant to make them more convenient for the professionals who wish to complete them, and who usually wish to continue working while they do so. The Sp Jain Emba is a two year program, which operates on a basis of one week in the classroom and then one week out of the classroom doing assignments and preparing for the next in class week. Out of the two years a total of 48 weeks are spent actually in the classroom. During the classroom weeks there are also many times quizzes or exams or other methods used in order to evaluate the progress of the students.

As with most executive MBA programs, the Sp Jain Emba does not give the students much choice over the courses that they take. There aren't any electives. During the first year of the program, all of the students take the same predetermined courses at the same time. Once students have completed the first year of their EMBA, they are allowed to choose a specialization and take the courses within that area. They are formed into small groups in order to complete assignments in a manner that is more like that of the real world. The options for specialization include finance, global human resources management, marketing and operations. This gives the students the option of customizing their degree a bit in order to focus on the area they are most interested in, while still making the program easy to administer.
